King of Devil's Island movie review

This is not an Asian movie but it is a very good Norwegian movie I watch last Sunday at Fantasia.
It is not an horror movie it is a dramatic movie inspired by real events that took place on Bastøy Island in the beginning of the 20th century. This Island was used as a correctional center for young boys to be reformed into humble,useful and useful Christians.
In the movie we follow our hero, Erling or I should say C-19 is sent on the island under suspicion of murderer. Of course he is a rebel and he can't stand the humiliating or useless punishment nor the fact that his friend Olav called C-1 is being sexually abused by one of the person in charge of the barrack. As the time passes C-19 and C-1 gradually begin to stir the emotions and the revolt among the other boys and ultimately it leads to a rebellion. But as the heads of the center are overwhelmed they call the army to suppress the revolt and unfortunately some soldiers did shoot at the boys.
So it is a sad and somewhat revolting movie about young boys who committed various little crimes and living in an icy hell with little hopes of escape.

News for the movie You're my pet

Kang  Haneul had his first starring role in the movie  You're My Pet.  He will plays the friend of Jang Geun Seok  and also acts as his romance coach. He will show us his musical talent in this movie too.

I will watch the movie only for him. So please Kang do your best, because I don't have a lot of hope for this movie.

You're my pet

I hope this movie will not be a crap like usual with Jang Geun Seok. No offence but the last drama he did ( Mary stayed out all night) was crappy because of him. The fact is he threw a fit because his character was supposed to die. They had to change the script for that lil baby. -_-

We can not forget the japanese version especially because it was a bucket of crap. I personaly love Matsumoto Jun ( not for his crappy acting ) but for the role of Tsukasa ( Hana Yori Dango). But the way he acted in the drama Kimi Wa petto was just a complete mess. I was like RRRRRAHAHHAH. ( What the *****)

Sarang: This is not a gang hating post. I ( Sarang) dont hate him, it's just that he decived me. I'm still in love with his character in You're beautiful.

Neko: In,you're Beautiful, his character is not that bad but it was lacking and  was not well developped but I do not like him for the fit he threw in Mary stayed out all night.

Some movies to watch

In the past days I watched some good movies.

1. My little bride
It was so funny to watch I laughed all the time.  It's obviously predictable but you stile can be suprised. The first lead make me fall in love with korean man. I tought the acting was good. Except for the female teacher she was overacting. I recomand you this movie it's light and funny.

2. Antique Bakery
OMG, you have to watch this movie. It was so hilarious and for the sexuality......
This movie has a very good plot. One of my favorite actors stars  in it. They were all good for the acting.

3. Seducting Mr.Perfect
That was an other good movie. It was funny to watch Daniel Henney (lead) speak English with the female lead when she responds in korean. The acting was perfect.
